

Personal History:
Mr. Dibble was born in San Francisco, California on September 22, 1950.
Education:
He attended high school in Greenwich, Connecticut, and received a bachelors degree in History from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1972. He attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, from which he graduated magna cum laude, in 1976. During his last two years in law school, Mr. Dibble was a law clerk with the firm of Tarter & Wininger, a two person firm specializing in personal injury litigation and criminal law. Mr. Dibble was an editor of the Cumberland Law Review, was inducted into Curia Honoris, the school's honor society, and wrote for the school's newspaper.
Legal/Social History:
For the year following law school, Mr. Dibble was law clerk to Hon. Clarence W. Allgood, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. After taking and passing both the California and Alabama bar examinations, in 1977 Mr. Dibble moved to San Francisco to join the firm of Carnes and Bailey, a six person law firm specializing in personal injury litigation. For the next fifteen years, Mr. Dibble continued this practice with various forms of the firm, last with Carnes & Dibble.
Mr. Dibble moved to Humboldt County in 1992 and opened a law office in Eureka, where he continued to specialize in personal injury litigation all over the State of California. On January 1, 2005, he merged his practice with that of Zachary E. Zwerdling, Esq. to form Zwerdling Dibble, LLP.
Honors:
Mr. Dibble is a member of the California and Alabama Bar Associations, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Obtained numerous substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Zachary Zwerdling, born in Espanola, New Mexico, November 13, 1951; admitted to bar, 1976 (California and US District Court, Northern District of California.)
Education:
Arcata High School (1969); Stanford University (BA, with distinction, 1973); University of Santa Clara School of Law (J. D. 1976). While in law school, Mr. Zwerdling was an Associate Editor of Law Review and a statewide Moot Court competitor. He also taught undergraduate courses in criminal justice at the University of Santa Clara.
Legal/Social History:
Mr. Zwerdling returned home to Humboldt County in 1977 and began practicing as an Assistant Public Defender with the Humboldt County Public Defender's office. In 1978, he went into private practice handling plaintiff personal injury litigation and has been a plaintiff personal injury attorney since that time.
During the past 25 years, Mr. Zwerdling has served as President of the Humboldt County Bar Association, a member of the Humboldt County Legal Aide/Lawyer Referral Service Committee and Bench Bar Liaison Committee, an arbitrator and mediator in numerous personal injury cases, and a guest lecturer at College of The Redwoods Police Academy. He has also been on the Board of Directors of Redwood Legal Assistance, Arcata House, and the Mobile Medical Clinic.
Honors:
Member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. This organization is limited to the top 1% of trial attorneys in the United States. Mr. Zwerdling is the only plaintiff personal injury attorney in Humboldt County who has been admitted into this organization.
Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, which is one of the nation’s most prestigious trial lawyer’s organizations.
Selected as a 2006 Northern California Super Lawyer, an award received by only 5% of Northern California lawyers each year.
